Yves Rocher’s botanists and agronomists cultivate all raw materials with the greatest respect for the environment. Yves Rocher choses agroecology as a pioneer model of agriculture to regenerate and revitalize the soils in which its raw materials grow.
2. NATURAL PRODUCTS
Yves Rocher expresses its commitment to biodiversity through Botanical Beauty®. Believing in the genius of simple plants, Yves Rocher’s Botanical Beauty research experts have created the innovative and particularly effective product line Yves Rocher Botanical Beauty®, which embraces the magnificent potential of plants with its 100% botanical extracts.
Yves Rocher products can be considered 100% vegetarian and over 600 of Yves Rocher product formulas are 100% vegan-certified.
4. ECO-FRIENDLY PACKAGING
From an abstract perspective, Yves Rocher brand sends a dynamic message based on the “less is more” philosophy. It produces an even more environmentally friendly packaging with reduced amount of plastic.
Since October 2020, all packaging is made of 100% recycled and recyclable plastic (with the exception of service caps, pumps and labels).
In 2021, Yves Rocher made a new start by launching the Elixir Botanique product line, reducing by 41% the amount of cardboard and removing entirely the plastic film from its packaging.
Yves Rocher encourages its customers to separate and recycle the packaging of its products. Turning its commitment into action, Yves Rocher has placed recycling bins in all stores for the daily collection of recyclables and their subsequent transportation to recycling centres.
6.ENERGY SAVING TECHNOLOGIES
In line with our Group’s sustainable standards, LED lamps have been installed in all Yves Rocher stores, covering all lighting needs while saving significant amounts of energy.
The full digitalization of receipts demonstrates the brand’s commitment to the adoption of more sustainable practices. It is aimed at the reduction of paper consumption, as well as at the fast and seamless customer service.
