Andreas began his professional career in 2011 as a Wellness Consultant at Holland & Barrett stores, and today he holds the position of Pharmaceutical Sales Representative at GSK, being a living example for every new member of our team. Andreas proves that career development is preceded by passion, commitment and persistence in order for excellence to be achieved.
The “story” of Andreas Makrides’s career progression within our Group, as told by himself.
“I began my career journey within C.A.PAPAELLINAS Group in May 2011 as a Wellness Consultant at Holland & Barrett.
Working for such a major Group was a great opportunity for me and I couldn’t let it go to waste.
Therefore, I started out as a Wellness Consultant at Holland & Barrett on Kolonakiou Ave. in Limassol, while at the same time helping out at two other Holland & Barrett stores also in Limassol, on Anexartisias Shopping Street and in My Mall Limassol, when needed.
Since the beginning of my career within the Group, I have been impressed by the magical world of Supplements and healthy nutrition. All these were already familiar to me since exercise is an integral part of my life. However, the knowledge and experience I had gained during my five-year tenure at Holland & Barrett helped me become worthy of my role as a Wellness Consultant and thereafter as a Pharmaceutical Representative at GSK.
In 2016 I was offered a great opportunity to join the GSK team as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative, a position that I hold until today. Almost six years later, I keep on learning and expanding my knowledge. Soon I will be celebrating my 11-year work anniversary at C.A.PAPAELLINAS Group, and I could not be more grateful to Mr. Christos Papaellinas and to everyone who believed in me and in my abilities.”
